why is it so hard for you to understand?

This scene is so brilliantly acted but so friggin sad at the same time for two reasons. #1 it was hard for Mike O’Malley (Burt Hummel) to chew out Cory (Finn Hudson) in this scene knowing full well that both he and his character are far from hateful and homophobic. #2 it’s heartbreaking because Finn clearly doesn’t want to hurt Kurt and yet he’s frustrated to the point of snapping; saying things he regrets immediately. I feel his pain and anguish in this scene more than anger or fear. Since he joined the glee club so many terrible/new things have been happening to him; responsibilities he didn’t ask for thrown on his shoulders along with people expecting too much out of him when he is just 16! Like he said in Ballad "I’m sick and tired of people pushing me to be something that I’m not". This episode was his breaking point :(
